21st of March, 2008, Latest News:

p>This page contains some cameos! Mer from Katch's Revenge Addict, Warpedwenger's Adrian from Wakon Yosai, and Mishi Hime's Ryu-hime from Ryu-hime. This had an extremely long delay, as you'd be well aware if you follow Pinky TA, I had a lot on and I was never happy with this page, I'm still not. More work time means less time to spend doing nothing, trying to work up the momentum to do pages. Now by the time I've done nothing for 10 hours, it's time to go to bed so I can sleep and go to work the next day. I used to be able to do nothing for 10 hours and then finally get on a roll and work on it for the next 20. Looks like I need to change some work habits.</p>

Well I finished most of the drawing here on time, Pinky in the big panel was the only real trouble, I just couldn’t get her right for some reason! Painting took a long time though. One of the reasons was I’ve just got my new specy powerful computer with its massive wide screen. So I’ve had to customize and install everything to work just right with it. And unlike when I got my second monitor, this upgrade didn’t result in a productivity increase. Instead because of the bigger screen and extra power it means I can add more detail painting more carefully on the page at full size because I can see more of it on one screen. Ha! Sot myself in the foot! Anyway, I thought the extra time was worth it to show you Pinky’s new Tiger.

Hahahaha! Yet another late page but at least this one didn't take two weeks like the last two. In fact I could have had this one done by Wednesday, but I was badly ill on Monday and Tuesday, and after that I've been busy setting up my nice new computer... I'm still on the old one at the moment though, I've got a lot of stuff still to transfer over and then I have to tune things exactly to my preference. It should make my artwork go a lot smoother though!
And lookee here, Pinky with a classic buttshot! ^_^ The awning shadow really mutes the bum power though... -_-

Sorry this was over two weeks late, I'm just a real shit. I don't know why, but I found it hard to stick with and concentrate on this page. I'm going to have to lift my game and get back to weekly updates
ON TIME, or maybe even bi-weekly. I know I CAN do it.

The pic of the buccaneer here was inspired by a groovy image of the USS Pennsylvania during the battle of Leyte Gulf in WW2. It's not as awesome as that image of course, but that's what inspired me. I dunno, this page only just started to look good at the very end when I added all the effects. Usually my style requires a minimum of line and detail work because I know the colour will add all that, but this time that wasn't the case! I should really have done a bit more work on the drawing stage. This was a crappy lazy page and I paid hard for that laziness.

18 th of October, 2007 News:

Two week delay on this one! I’m very sorry about that. There were a few reasons for it. My sister was visiting, I was feeling quite low about my work generally, and this page was quite difficult to visualise, since all the fancy action stuff that drives it AND defines most of the colouring and lighting wasn’t going to go on until the very final stage, so it was tricky drawing and colouring a whole page around imaginary special effects. Hahahaha! But it DOES look better when it’s done that way, even if it is harder. -putting mocked up effects in as placeholders doesn’t achieve the same result in the end I find.

6th of October, 2007 News:

This page was basically finished yesterday. Jebus, it was mostly done on Wednesday really, but I just lost all enthusiasm, got too tired and had too sleep a lot. It's a nice view of Pinky in the first panel, but I intended this page to be a quickie so that I could do two updates this week, unfortunately quickies always seem to be too boring to concentrate on, especially when you're tired. I like Pinky's dress there, but she'd have looked cool in her sexy gear in that pose. Bugger it!

Oh, and those Trompers are much like the SSV5 so far. Not too much of a stretch but some aspects of them will always cause problems. Grr. This story features them heavilly.

I spent too long messing around with the colour, just having a lot of fun painting, fun with light. This tends to happen when I do dark scenes, it takes longer and longer because you have so much more range with tone on a dark page than you do on a bright one.

Updated on time because I finished this on early! For once! Pinky is getting less than half the hits it's been getting for a while... Not sure why, but these things happen I suppose, at least the art's as good as ever and I'm having fun with that. WHoopdeedoop... So nice to be able to update early for once! Yay.

Only a single day late THIS time! The main BG here was based on a photo of the inside of a hotel from a magazine. I can't remember what mag is was, something aspirational probably. I can't recall where it was taken either, probably a French hotel I think. Anyway, it was rather tricky to construct the pic, I messed up the perspective a bit, but it was such a magnificent angle and scene I just HAD to use it.

Sand in your pants!! That's the title of this humorous pic by Sarah Nelson, the artist behind the long running Vampire Phantasm, the long running and much loved as well as much re-started Vampire star comic of Drunk Duck! This is what happened to poor Pinky after the sandstorm!.

Ok, this page is almost ready, I just need a nap before I can get the colours right.. Here's a preview on the left.
There will be lots of news to update... I have great fanart from Sarah and my comic remix page was done! I did FanDanGoh, a fully digitally painted (rather than drawn and painted) page! It turned out great and only took a few short hours after work to do. The guy who did my Pinky page made it look 10 times sexier! I'll need to get the links up when I finish doing the latest Pinky page!

Oh man, I'm SO tired! I forgot how to draw again. This is getting worse, my figure drawing is deteriorating badly... I can't even draw FACES now for f***s sake! Even my architecture detail was rough and uninspired... Ah well, the line drawing is done but I still have to blob in all the colour and text. I could finish it today, but I think a Friday finish is better to save my brain :P
There are some old faces in this page as well as a cameo by Colonel Gadafi just because I thought it'd be sort of funny... I mean, it is Libya, even if that was a long time before he was born.
Meh, I'm crap at drawing, maybe I should take up painting again? That'd be funny since I always found drawing easier, now it's painting that seems more fun, free, expressive, and even more accurate funnily enough.

Ah, it's difficult to find your feet in a new storyline when you've been caught up in another one for so long. Not to mention the different colour schemes, character designs, and drawing those damn complicated mecha again. The Screen was based on an Art Decco design by Frank Brangwyn. Pinky's Room design was inspired by a photo of a 1930's bathroom at Claridges.

Hmm, There will be a short delay with the latest page. It's happening fine but I've been a bit tired and I started it quite late in the week. Going into a whole new chapter is always hard, especially changing colour schemes and lighting styles etc, but just getting an idea of the new paces and scenes is a chore. We'll see how it goes, maybe I'll even post the uncoloured line version to give a preview of how it's going to look!

There've been a couple of updates! The last page of chapter 6 and the cover page of the new Part 7. And these can both be seen at my Ozoneocean site if DD goes down. It's nice to start a new chapter. I'm going back to the future again here, Pinky 's story picks up a few months after the events in part 5, but certain elements from the flashback do actually follow on in Part 7. This one should feature a bit more action, which is why I'm starting with an action cover, Ace Kinkaid will show up and a couple of other people as well. I'm excited about this storyline actually ^_^

9th of August, 2007 News:
This is the cover for Part 7, depicting scene from the story, a bit of an action shot. This story takes place a few months after the events in chapter 5, and a few years after chapter 6 (which was a bit of a flashback). When I was drawing Pinky here I was tired and fell asleep, when I woke up I saw how crap she looked in a pic that I thought I had finished, so I rubbed her out and started again-lucky I still had an earlier sketch to work from.

6th of August, 2007 News:
JEBUS! This is the latest I've been this year I think! Ugh! I forgot how to draw again (this happens every few weeks it seems), so I had to redo this thing over and over. I'm so sorry for being late! Then I got sick over the weekend so I was buggered for another two days (nightmare sinus pain, worst ever). I'm sort of happy with how it turned out. This is the end of part 6, next up we go back to the "present", a few months after Part 5 left off. Dave looks a bit like Richard Z. Kruspe from Rammstein in the 3rd panel… only a teeny bit. And those jackets look a bit too 'Star Trek' for my liking!

News this week; Well, there's the Wallpapers (in my Pinky Gallery) I did and sort of advertised last week, I'll advertise them again now because I like 'em! Plus, this week's vote incentive for Top Web Comics is another special wallpaper you just get by voting (eh, it's a cut and paste job but I think it's cool). I decided to leave that wallpaper pic up… ^_^ Other news; YAY, I got Book 1 and 2 of The Gods of Arrkelaan as well as the 3rd book, Myths and Legends. They make GREAT bed time reading, it's a story you can really sink your teeth into, makes Pinky TA look like baby stuff in my opinion. They're great looking books too, if I ever print out Pinky TA I just hope it'll come out as good as that!

So, as the most recent news states, my main site it down at the moment. Drunk Duck is once again a dead duck. Lucky I have my own domain name... At the moment it goes to my Ozoneocean site. Man, it took me a few hours to upgrade things a bit and fix them at my other sites so they were up to date with the improvements on the main site at Drunk Duck, But I'm fairly happy with it all now. And I can log in and update my Keenspace account again as well now! Yay! Some bug there meant that you had to log out of you FORUM account and then log in again before you could update your comic... heh, about as unintuitive as the help system at Drunk Duck! hahaha! -now if only those "help" e-mails at DD actually went somewhere... *~*

I wanted to do this one quickly. It wasn't quick though… the little panels went fast but I kept making mistakes with the main panel! Why is it that rough drawings always look 1000 times better than stiff, traced-over finished pics? I dunno… I had to keep Killing the "finished" versions and go back to the rough one. What a pain! That's why this is late. I also had an unexpected work shift too, which slowed me.

You should check out Steel Staccato. This strange Manga style story comic has amazing action sequences and brilliant perspective and angles on figures that I'd be frightened to even attempt!

~Ah, this was a fast page to draw, it only took a few hours to do the entire thing. Colour took longer because I was too sleepy. More reference was used for the horsy head.
Well, I finally put this page up here and not just at www.PinkyTA.com, but I've got space issues so the pages in this chapter (like the older chapters), are all hosted in my NightGig gallery, which will make them slower to load. This will have to be the case until the next chapter unfortunately. Ah, I've just put up more pages than usual, that's the trouble.

I'm Not updating on the home site yet because of reorganisation issues, and I can't even get into my archive at Comic Gen, but my main site is now Drunk Duck and my current update can be seen here! My comic archive for this chapter is at my Ozone X gallery at nightgig and also at Comicspace.

Woo, Pinky TA was number 1 comic for a week at Drunk Duck! Novel, Groovy. Charby is quite brilliant and will return there eventually. Hero By Night is pretty good too and could take the spot possibly as well. Maybe Purgatory Tower or Rainbow Carousel?

I'm experimenting with some project wonderful ads. It's interesting! Nice to support other comics, get a little bit of money and enjoy promotion. Ah, this current comic page only took a few dort hours to draw, longer to colour, but it was generally a very fast page! Very late this time. What happened was that I just lost the will to work during the drawing stage. One of those mild depressions hit me and I couldn't really do much. But here it is finally! There aren't many pages to go before the end of this chapter, yay! Almost done with it!!! Then it'll be on to the next story which connects to the other chapters parts (1 to 5), as well as this prequel story.

Late again. Sorry. I was talking to SpANG about the spammy new add thing that's been stuck under everyone's comic at Drunk Duck. Ah well, that made it take longer to finish stuff off. Not much happens in this page, but you see a good image of PINKY! It's about time we had one of those.

Anyway, speaking of SpANG and adds, check out this deal: advertising on The Gods of Arrkelaan costs $10 for a whole month with a gigantic "skyscraper" add, that's not a bad deal… So I'm pimping it out for them since I've booked up two months myself, I think there are two spaces left. WOOT! Pinky TA got to number 2 comic overall at Drunk Duck! Right after Lovely Charby the Vampirate. Promotion paid off, yay! Well, when I stop promoting I'm sure Pinky TA will drop back down again, either quickly or on a gradual slope. I've got no pretensions there, I don't think it's got the staying power of something like the Gods of Arrkelaan.

Anyway, the latest update at Drunk Duck is here! And at my home site of course and ComicGen.
And a couple of other places too... But I've learned my lesson in that regard: Although it means reduced hits to any one place and it can be a tiral to update them all, they increase exposure overall and you NEED a fall back for when sites crash- which they do.

A few hours late. Sorry about that. Jebus I hate doing the lettering and speech bubbles! I hope this doesn't look too washed out? Since my computer trouble I haven't got the colour on my monitors setup the way it used to be. One is set to make things look lovely and rich and the other is set for brightness (so I can use them to see different things), but how are other people's monitors set up? That's the question…

Hey hey hey! This week's update at Drunk Duck, (which I consider my main Pinky site now), my Home site, and Comicgen!

What happened in the period since I last posted... Well I tried a bit of promotion for Pinky TA and that seems to have rocketed into the top 5 stories on the front page of Drunk Duck. Yay! It won't last, but it's nice while it happens.
Also, the other day I was chatting online to SpANG of The Gods of ArrKelaan when suddenly there was this alarming sound in the room behind me! This terrific flapping and fluttering noise. Then it suddenly stopped... and then started again. I turned around to see a dove batting against the window trying to get out. And a little way further down the room there was another one! These two STUPIDest of birds had probably just walked in curiously and had no idea how to get out, one just following the other... And now everytime one flew up to try and escape, the other copied, so they were like synchronised flappers; when they got tired they both suddenly stop again at the same time, flapping and then stopping, flapping and the stopping, even though they were in different sides of the room. Meanwhile my big fat tabby cat was sleeping through the whole thing. Typical.
So I walked over, waited until they stopped flapping, picked up one in my left hand, then went over and picked up the other in my right, went outside into the garden and let them go... They're very docile creature, not to bright either... One wonders how they even get out of their eggs.

News from 13th Jun 2007
Page description:
After they topped a small rise... quite a bit of damage. Pinky's fellow crew mates didn't get off nearly as lightly as the crew from Pinky'stank. Tanks have smashed into each other, one is on fire, blood and fuel everywhere, and dead soldiers.

Commentary:
This page took longer than the last one. Amazingly I did the background even before I started sketching! The trouble with these damn tank designs is that they're rather interestingly angular in places and the turrets are quite asymmetrical, I forget which sides what thing is on.I doubt these tanks look the same on every page.

I've also added a NEW INTRO feature at Drunk Duck so people can find the story a bit easier to get into. It has various things on it, including info about the war Pinky's involved in, a page featuring all the covers that take you straight to the chapters when you click on them, some chapter descriptions and heaps of nice pics. The pic on the left is a map of Pinky's Europe.

Anyway, I'm archiving my page newsposts here so this is the one for this week:

6th of June, 2007, Latest News!

Man, a simple painted page with no drawn lines what so ever makes quite a nice change, it just takes a moment and then it's done! The usual method (that I use currently), is to do a rough sketch with the tablet, put a transparent while layer over that, zoom in a little and draw over the whole thing again with a finer brush, repeat that process once or twice more then make the last white layer opaque, flatten it with the to drawn layer and get rid of the rest. Then I save it as a new file, set the drawing to "multiply", lock it and add some extra layers for colour: background, detail, figure and effects. And so on. It's a long process! It gets results, but it's not as fun as the way I've done this page.

AH Ok So last week's update happened ok, a day lay again. Here at Drunk Duck and here at CG, and of course at my main site for when those go down, down, down. :)

As to last week with my computer trouble and the tablet... Well the Microsoft people were quite helpful in everything, and I eventually reinstalled Windows XP and the tablet started working again. But since then I think a simpler way may have been to just run check disk and fix some errors... I think the root of the true problem was a couple of corrupted system files, probably related to my failing power system. Ah well, things are ok now except for 10 gigs of space Windows think is being used on the HD but doesn't want to tell me by exactly what? ... Even with all the hidden files and system files visible there are still just over 10 gigs being used that aren't actually being used. -i.e.. everything on C drive now take up about 26gigs but Windows reckons that 37 gigs are being used. Initially it reckoned 48 gigs were being used, but I told it to delete all the old system restore files (they don't show up anywhere?) So maybe I have 10 gigs of ultra hidden sys restore files knocking around somewhere?

Whatever. I'm going to try advertising my Pinky TA comic. The first time I've ever done it in all the years it's been up :)
Pointing the adds towards my DD site. Which should be interesting as long as DD is stable, which it isn't right now... Hmm :(

This update, 24th-May-2007:
I would have been finished earlier with the current page, but my tablet stopped working with my main computer for some reason. I suspect the latest Windows update! Because it works fine with the backup machine, which I prevented from getting that same hateful update. There's nothing I can do to get rid of it, may have to reinstall Windows, gawd what a POS OS! I rushed this pic but it's still a day late. Sorry if it looks weird, I had to install everything on the other computer and I wasn't used to the screen, the colours and all the rest...

Man I'm being late every week at almost exactly the same time! At least this one was really quick to draw. The final line work and colour was all done in one go for once. Yes indeed, the colour was fast and easy!

9th of May, 2007 News:
Late again… At least it's done. Ah, painting them in is just too fun, I could have finished it earlier but I was just enjoying painting their faces in too much. Maybe I should go for realism instead, but this painted style is just so ingrained and enjoyable.

2nd of May, 2007 News:
A few hours lat but not as late as I was last week. Hopefully next week can be bang on time again. Ugh, the last few panels I just couldn't be stuffed, my drawing style suffered. Hey, do you like Cynthia's outfit? That was designed by everyone's favorite Alejkhan, see her concept here!

Ugh, a whole day late! Sorry. It was a little complicated to design and draw the truck, I took a lot less time over it than I normally would, but those kinds of things still aren't completely spontaneous. And I was doing some other stuff which took time away. Ah well, I love this big machine!

Done on time again, but this page took longer. I had other stuff to do that interfered and I was stubborn about not using references, that's why the figures in the top panel are so stiff and unnatural. I just couldn't nail it. Happy birthday to me for last Monday ^_^

11th of April, 2007 News:
Yet another page done on time. How do I keep to the schedule when for so long I couldn't? It's a mystery. Not a bad page to do, most of the poses are pretty basic, the background didn't require much effort and the colour scheme is the same as the last few pages –I'm sure that contributes to making it faster! -last week's special is now in full colour.

4th of April, 2007 News:
Check this out! it's a special pic to celebrate 100 pages of Pinky TA on Drunk Duck! I've gone back to my fantasy art roots for this, Pinky as a sword and sorcery warrior maiden! It could even fit in with a future storyline somewhat, since Pinky's mum deals with the spiritual… Adventures on another plain?

28th of March, 2007 News:
Amazingly this single panel page was actually finished on time and only took about a day or lessto do. Cool. Meanwhile I've joined the Drunk Duck Civil War! It's pretty cool, a whole lot of comic creators there are picking sides and making themselves into characters to fight it out! More into on the Civil War forums. My character pic for the civil war is on the right there.

25th of March, 2007 News:
Um, I've just been made one of the admins of Drunk Duck, in order to help out better with the site. Getting up to speed with that slowed me down a little in some areas, so that's one of the reasons for the huge delay in finishing this page. The other things was getting carried away with colour as usual! :)

11th of March, 2007 News:
Ok, About my massive delay and absence here: I had a nasty migraine for a few days, it was over 42 C for a couple of days too, so that didn't help. And then I was enjoying a break away from DD and played a bit of Battlefield 2. But most especially the games that grabbed me were Boxhead Zombies! YEAH. These are Flash games, you HAVE to play them, they're SO fantastic! So, try the fun Boxhead Zombie Rooms and the Much, Much cooler Boxhead Zombie MORE Rooms. Brilliance.

Yup, another update. At the Main site and at Drunk Duck. Not at comic Gen though yet for some reason... I'm thinking about having Drunk Duck as my main site again because it's been rocksteady for over a year now... And I do love it there. But it's hard to get over those crashes though. I do want to. I'm going to get my Comic dish mirror up to speed eventually too! Better to have more sites than fewer I think. Just in case. ;)

I was surprised to have my colouring speed back again! That's so good to have back. Colour SHOULD be faster than the drawing stage ^^. I love it when that's the case. Colouring is so much more expressive and fun than drawing. What I have to do now is get rid of outlines entirely and do full painted stuff like I used to when I actually painted. Lines just get in the way. I hate 'em!

Pinky TA has a preview update on Drunk Duck here. It's the sketch stage. Later on the page will be coloured and lettered. I do this almost every week. :)

Pinky TA UPDATE 02-02-07

I've finally updated Pinky TA again... At the Main site. (also @DD and @CG)

Initially it was going to be a nice simple quick page of talking heads, but I wanted to have more action... I liked the look of the panel structure but it doesn't flow nearly as well as I wanted it to. Seems like I'm just not that great at making comic pages or this page wouldn't have taken so bloody long to colour! I had so many missteps and mistakes in the colouring process. :(

Hmm, well an interesting thing happened the other day: At around midnight there was a very strange sound coming from the front of the house... It sounded like a mixture of a swan honk and the noise of someone sawing through cardboard with a bread knife. It'd go on for a while and then stop, then start again and so on. So I took out a torch and had a look for the cause of this mysterious ruckus. I couldn't see anything... it was far too dark and the torch showed nothing. I was able to track it through the strange noise it made though, first I looked up in the palm tree and couldn't see a thing, then I looked into the paperbark... I still couldn't see anything, but the scary noises were definitely coming from the paperbark! There were strange rustlings in there as well... Sudden bursts of movement and then the unearthly sound would begin again; like nothing I've ever heard in this area before.
So I went and got a big ladder, unfolded it out to its full height of about 3.5 meters (that's almost 12 feet in the old system), I lent it against a branch closest to the source of the noises and climbed up to the top. Wel lwthen I shined the torch in there I STILL couldn't see a thing... But it seemed that some of the shadow and darkness was darker than the rest... So I homed in on the dark spot. There was definitely something dark in the dark spot, very dark. And then it made the noise again all of a sudden and I was shaken a bit on my wobbly ladder. So I got some ropes and tied the ladder to the branch, I also got some gloves and a towel. Now I knew for sure what the strange black thing was: an injured raven. I didn't want it tearing the veins out of my hands or anything so I was going to be very careful...
I tossed the towel into the centre of the blackness, it gave a bit of a hoot of protest, and I reached in to try and wrap it up. I still had the torch and tried to have another look at what it was... Yup, it was a raven alright and its beak appeared to be stabbed through one wing or something. Anyway I tried wrapping it up as gently as I could but it wouldn't budge; I eventually found that its claws were wrapped tight around various twigs and things, so a spent some anxious moments pulling its talons apart and moving branches and things so I could get at it; all that time perched on the very top rung of the ladder. In due course I got it all free and wrapped up safely. For such a big intimidating bird, it was very light and gentle in my bundle. I climbed down and put it in a cat basket with a lid on, there was some blood but I couldn't tell from where...
I brought it inside and arranged it nicely inside the basket, being very wary of the massive sharp beak and very long sharp talons. It seemed ok in there, bright eyed and inquisitive, with only one wing drooping. It gave the basket lid a sharp peck after examining it carefully, an inquisititive, testing peck... Ravens are very intelligent creatures. I gave it a dish of water and some bread to eat, I also put some in the water because I know they like to soften it in there first. Later on I held out a piece of bread to it, which it took from my hand, dropped in the water, and then started eating it from there as it soaked. Later on it even worked out how to open the basket and get out, knowing exactly where to push the lid and which side of it to push first!

In the morning Mr Raven went to the vet... It was found that one wing was torn out of its socket and there was some internal injury. The wing was apparently deemed irreparable and Mr Raven was put down... That's not the ending I would've chosen :(

I had a huge f-up with the colouring this time... I don't know what happens, I just totally forget how to do it sometimes. I think part of the problem is the switching back and forth between drawing and colouring... I may be able to combat that by doing a batch of drawings and then colouring them one after another. What's so annoying is that as soon as I get my drawing speed working in tip top condition, suddenly my colouring takes up the slack... What a pain in the arse.

One really, really cool thing is that I'm actually making a pair of Pinky style pants as part of a collaboration with another artist, and hopefully she'll be able to model as Pinky! I won't say any more because it may not happen, -you know how things can go- but the pants are working well so it's a real possibility!

Pink Skin has just been updated too! (also @DD) It's part of a collab with Spaz.

I still haven't worked out how to speed up all the way... But my drawing DOES take less time now! The colour is just taking longer again for some reason. I'll see if I can get them both up to the same rate.

Happy New Year! Wow, There're 4 pics in the fan at gallery this time! Neilak20 of Soapbox Hill did me this pic of a sophisticated Cc as a secret Santa gift! I got another great secret Santa pic by Kira Dwenna of Under CONstruction of Cc as a Mad Max style road warrior! I'm very lucky. Kennatsu from PrOnCrest features Pinky in a page of his latest comic! And lastly, Pinky has a little cameo in Simon's Billy Learns to Rock Christmass page. ^_^

Yeah so I still want to simplify things, but I haven't quite worked out how...? This latest page was nice and quick to draw, but I slowed down on colour for some reason. I think that if I can keep the drawing speed up to that level, and not be too precious about colour, then I can get a whole page done in two days. So that's the goal. -Of course it'd be a LOT quicker if I just did simple fills but I cannot bring myself to do that, ewwwwwwwww... Paining is were it's AT dude!

Drunk Duck Featured Pinky TA today! What a lovely Christmas present! ^_^

Pink Skin had an update yesterday too.

Pinky TA is at the drawing stage for its current page right now. I'm going to try and work as fast as I can.
Christmas was lovely this year, everything was good and I got a lot of lovely food presents. I also saw a good firend who I haven't seen in a long long while, so that was a great thing as well.

Comic update on the 20th of December, 2006!

So there has finally been a real update. The page has been COLOURED!
On the Main site, @DD and @CG.
I'm seriously thinking about simplifying my art. A lot goes into Pinky TA and there is no return equivalent for the work I put in... I mean it's creatively fun, and I get a lot of nice comments about it at Drunk Duck, but it's just not worth it for the time and energy it takes. I can't even compete for popularity on Drunk Duck any more these days XD
Newer comics come along that can update with lovely stuff daily because they're basically putting up stuff from an archive, they get a feature of the bat on the front page and become fixtures... Sometimes I do feel a little envy for that situation, but what can I do? In the end I realise that kind of thing doesn't mean that much, and if it doesn't, then what does all the work on my comic mean? Even less. So I have to scale back and focus on other things instead of Pinky TA- it's either that or quit it altogether. It's been a great creative project, but its also become a bit of a heavy weight

I have two new pics in the fan art gallery! One from Lefarce of Lefarce (and numerous other comics here at DD), and the other from Ryan Glass of Short Bus Brothel! Ryan's pic is of a truly boobular Pinky in the style of The MAXX's Sam Kieth. Lefarce's pic is a hilarious illustration of a dream I posted in the forums on Dunk Duck

Anyway, page 5 of the current story is finally coloured and up. It's sort of funny and looks as good as I wanted it to.

Well Pinky TA is late as usual for Wednesday's update, but I have updated the drawing stage to my Drunk Duck web page here.

It was fun to draw. People are much nicer to draw than buildings or machines.

What else? Nothing else. Christmas is coming.
